We had fun engaging in the School Wide Write today. We wrote a persuasive piece on the topic: Should cats come to school? Share your opinion with your family and try to convince them that your opinion is better. Remember to use the persuasive words, descriptive words and figurative expressions. Have fun!

Welcome to Wednesday everyone!  Hopefully it was a fantastic day for you.

In Social Studies we are completing our study of the regions of Canada by creating advertisements featuring amazing facts about the region we focused on.  We will be presenting these to our classmates at school.

We are also practicing our inferencing skills in Language Arts and learning about what makes an effective question.

Friday? Already? Time flies when you are having fun! We had an excellent first week back filled with many learning opportunities and time to reconnect with our friends.

Another Thursday in the books! We are continuing to work hard on our presentations for our Amazing Race advertisement projects. We are learning all about how to use visuals along with other presentation techniques to persuade our viewers to visit our region.

What a wonderful Wednesday! As per usual, we had another "Would you Rather Wednesday" in class this morning. With our "Would you Rather Wednesday" we always make sure to justify our opinion instead of just choosing an option because we felt like it.

Happy Tuesday everyone! With a brand new year in front of us we decided that it would be a great idea to revisit our Wellness Goals we set for ourselves in September. We took the time to carefully evaluate our previous goal, then set brand new Wellness Goals for ourselves for 2021.

Welcome back Grade 5/6! We were so happy to see all of you today. Today marked our first day back in class in 2021. 

We continued with our Amazing Race unit and began our new advertising project where we will be presenting and trying to "sell" our regions to our viewers to persuade them to visit our Canadian region.

In honor of the person who made us smile everyday.
