Happy Friday everyone!

We have come to the end of another great week of learning! Be proud of all that you have accomplished this week!

Today we had some design time for our Social Studies maps. Students are creating very unique designs and some have been getting inspiration from maps they have seen in TV shows, video games, places they have travelled or even the mall! We are so excited to see the finished products.

Over the past two days, both Room 5 and Room 6 have been working hard to perfect their recordings for the upcoming Remembrance Day Assembly. We just can't wait to share what we have created with the entire school!

Happy Thursday everyone!

Today we began working on creating our very own maps that demonstrate our understanding of the various map features we have learned about in Social Studies.

Mrs. Robichaud also joined students this morning to guide them through answering a survey based on their experiences at school.

Student artwork is being hung in the hallways of our school on the Remembrance Day display for all students to see and appreciate. Room 5 students have added their Georgia O'Keeffe Poppy drawings to this display. On the back of these beautiful pieces of art, students have placed their letters to Veterans.

We are busy preparing stories, scripts, artwork and post cards for Remembrance Day. Yesterday, Mrs. Robichaud taught us about the importance of writing post cards to Veterans on Remembrance Day to thank them for everything they have done for us. We are working hard to write meaningful letters to our Veterans.

Remember... enjoy this wonderful weather while we still have it!
