Another Terrific Tuesday

In writing we are continuing to learn about the structure of persuasive writing.  It will be fun to create our own persuasive writing pieces.  One example of a picture book that demonstrates persuasive writing is The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.  

 

In Social Studies, we are continuing to study about maps, as we work our way into learning about Canada.  Please talk to your parents about how the following map features work:

**Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 19th (4:15-8:00 pm) and Friday, November 20th (8:00 am -12:30 pm).  A notice has been sent home with your child with instructions on how to register for conferences.
