This week we have the privilege of hosting Cst. Mark Enzie in our classrooms to discuss online safety.  Cst. Enzie is our School Resource Officer.  He spoke to Room 6 today and he will visit Room 5 on Thursday.  Some of the points he covered was:

-phones should be left with parents at bedtime

-everything you put online is traceable and cannot be deleted

-do not share personal information

-be careful of the number of pictures that you post online

-do not post anything inappropriate (pictures, memes, etc.)

-texting- nothing can actually be deleted

-when using a chat room, you don't actually know who you are speaking to

-in chat rooms, everything is watched

-don't accept friend requests that you don't know personally

Above all, please be careful and be kind!!!!

***Room 6 students, please begin bringing in empty cereal boxes.***
