We are in the final week of October in our Learning Journey. On Mondays, we have metaphors to compare our learning and develop our critical thinking.  Everyday we also have Exit Slips comparing our learning that day with a simile or a metaphor. Please explain to member of your family what is a metaphor or a simile. What has been your favorite Monday Metaphor or Exit Slip so far?  Why?

Room 5: Study the provinces, territories and their capital cities.  Test is on Thursday.

Reminder:

-We will be having a wear a character shirt day (if you have one) on Thursday, October 29.  This year, we will not be wearing costumes or bringing in any treat to share due to Covid safety regulations.

-NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 30.  It is a Professional Development Day.
